Battle of Countries

Teams by profile country, one reference for everyone.

In short: Battle of Countries is a friendly ranking of delegations by the countries in artists’ profiles. At least two countries are required. A delegation’s result is the average score of all its participants; artists state their own country, so it is not an official national selection.

How it feels

It is a festival: artists from different countries and time zones work the same reference. You see “your delegation” and pull its average up together.

The mode is gentle in tempo but lively in spirit: the more artists from your country, the more interesting the ranking. It is ideal for international communities and online meetups.

Who it is for

For international communities, online courses and friends from different countries.

  • international communities
  • online schools with students from several countries
  • anyone who wants to feel PMU as a world arena

How a game goes

  1. Delegations

The roster is locked at the start by the countries in artists’ profiles. Participants from at least two countries are required.

  2. Work and submission

Everyone works the reference. The submission window accounts for different time zones — usually 72 hours.

    72 hours
  3. Blind judging

Judges see neither the author nor the country — only the photo and the criteria.

    1–2 days
  4. Result by country

The delegation with the best average score wins; individual places are counted separately.

How points work

  • A delegation’s country is taken from the artist’s profile at the moment the event starts.
  • A country’s result is the average total score of all delegation members, not the sum.
  • This is a friendly ranking, not an official national selection.

A delegation’s playbook

Call your countrymen

The more artists from your country, the steadier the average — the community matters more than one hero.

Choose a wide window

For participants in different zones a 72-hour window works well — everyone finds a free evening.

Talk to your allies

A delegation sees each other’s profiles and can agree quickly on Telegram.

Frequently asked questions

Where does a participant’s country come from?

From the artist’s profile: it is stated by the artist and locked when the event starts.

Is this an official championship?

No. It is a friendly ranking: certificates confirm participation and result in a specific event.

Other modes

Spectators

Spectators can follow PMU Quest events without competing. If the creator enables the optional audience award for a new event, a separate 72-hour vote opens only after the official judges finalize the results. It never changes sporting places or craft ratings.

Certificates

PMU Quest certificates are community practice awards tied to real completed events, artists or judges. A public proof records a specific result or contribution. It is not a diploma, accreditation, professional licence or medical qualification.

A practice result you can verify.
