One piece, scored on three criteria.
In short: Classic is the cleanest PMU Quest format: every artist works the same reference on latex or silicone, independent judges score the pieces blind on three criteria, and the highest average total score wins.
Equal results share a place: ties never discard an artist.

This is your warm-up. No brackets and no eliminations: you step into the arena once and a single piece decides everything. You study the reference, plan the layout, sit down at the machine — and two or three hours turn into pure practice.
The strength of this mode is honesty: judges do not know the author, and you receive three scores and comments on your work. Even with a modest place you take away concrete hints on stroke, density and care for the material.
For anyone taking a first step into competitions or wanting a quick technique check.
Time
The community picks the reference from the proposed ones and confirms the mode. This is also when you sign up as a participant or apply as a judge.
1–2 daysYou get a personal codeword, write it on the latex, work with the machine and shoot photo and process video. You choose the hours.
48–72 hoursThe organizer checks authenticity, then an independent panel scores the anonymous photos: technique, pigment evenness, care — 1 to 10.
1–2 daysThe average total score decides the places. A tie means shared places: 1, 1, 3. Your certificate and feedback appear in your profile right away.
instantSpend the first 20–30 minutes on construction and contour — Classic gives no second attempt.
Shoot without filters in even light: judges see only the photo, and it has to be honest.
Judges score pigment evenness and care for the latex — an overloaded colour rarely wins.
