Spectators · PMU Quest

Watch PMU practice. Choose your favourite.

You don’t have to compete to be part of the practice. Notice the details, follow a master’s progress and give your support.

Audience choice
An award for support. Not a second judging panel.

Two different kinds of recognition

The result stays with the judges. The choice is yours.

Spectators can follow PMU Quest events without competing. If the creator enables the optional audience award for a new event, a separate 72-hour vote opens only after the official judges finalize the results. It never changes sporting places or craft ratings.

Official result
Blind panel assessment → sporting places and craft rating.
Audience choice
After the result → an optional 72-hour vote → a separate award, with no judge score.

Watch

Start by watching

Open Arena, choose an event and check its stage, reference, artist roster and judging panel. During judging, the current work-to-author mapping stays blind; public rosters and opted-in profiles are not anonymous. Completed events show approved work and official results.

Choose

One account, one changeable vote

To vote, sign in with a verified Telegram account. Choose another artist’s latest judged, approved work in that event. You cannot vote for yourself. You can change your choice before the deadline; changes replace your vote rather than adding votes. This is separate from the earlier reference and mode vote.

Celebrate

A fixed window, no live leaderboard

The audience vote lasts 72 hours after official finalization. Individual public vote totals stay hidden until the deadline. Artists tied for the highest positive total share the award. With zero votes, no audience award is issued. The award has no score out of 30 and never affects judges’ results or ratings.

Before you look for a vote

Optional for creators, never retroactive

The creator must explicitly enable the audience award when creating a new event; the new creation form checks it by default. Older clients that omit the option leave it off. Existing events are not backfilled. Not every completed event therefore has an audience vote.

Stay in control

Privacy and reminders

Voting alone does not create a public artist profile or opt you into notifications. News and deadline reminders require explicit opt-in and are best-effort, not guaranteed delivery. The bot states deadlines in UTC; the app shows local time and a countdown. Check the event deadline yourself.

Frequently asked questions

Can audience votes change the winner?

No. Judges determine sporting places and craft ratings. The audience award is a separate community distinction after official finalization.

Can I vote again or vote for myself?

One verified Telegram account has one vote per event. You may change it before the deadline, but you cannot choose your own work.

Why is there no audience vote in this event?

It is optional for new events, opens only after official finalization and lasts 72 hours. Old events are never backfilled.
